Build me a project called Nexus Agent Kit, a plugin first AI terminal workspace for Codex and Claude Code. I want it to feel like a shared operating system for AI coding sessions, so once it is installed, the assistant follows consistent rules for planning work, reviewing architecture, debugging code and CI and CD failures, handling database changes, tracking TODOs, and working safely with MCP tools.

Please make it install straight from the GitHub repo, with plain Node 18 scripts and no npm install step. It should support both global and project scoped setup, and it should bootstrap or refresh the managed instruction block in ~/.claude/CLAUDE.md and ~/.codex/AGENT.md without wiping anything the user already has.

Include reusable agents, skills, and terminal commands, plus project memory across sessions. I also want support for connected work systems like Slack, Jira, Notion, and AWS style MCP integrations, with a daily brief from TODOs and linked work. Keep the experience practical, consistent, and easy to use. Look up any current docs online if you need to.
