Build me a small Python MCP server that lets an LLM fetch YouTube subtitles and transcripts from either a full YouTube link or a video ID.
I want it to return the transcript with timestamps so the model can use it for summarizing, searching, or answering questions about a video. Make it easy to run locally, and make sure it works with any MCP compatible client. If you need to check current docs or examples for MCP or YouTube transcript handling, go ahead and look them up online.
Please include a simple way to start the server from the command line, and keep the setup straightforward so I can install it and point my MCP client at it without much hassle. If there are any tricky edge cases with unavailable subtitles or different YouTube URL formats, handle those cleanly and give useful error messages.
