advplyr/audiobookshelf ? reverse-engineered prompt

Build me a self hosted audiobook and podcast server for my home library. I want a clean web app where I can add folders of audiobooks, upload files by drag and drop, stream them in the browser, and keep my listening progress saved per user so different people in the house can have their own accounts and permissions.

It should handle podcasts too, with search, episode downloads, and optional automatic downloads. Please include library scanning when files change, metadata and cover lookup, editing chapters, backups for metadata, and open RSS feeds for books and podcasts. Basic ebook support would be nice too, especially epub and pdf reading and sending files to a device.

Make it easy to run on a home server with Docker, and make the web app work well as a PWA. If there are important setup details for reverse proxy or websockets, include clear notes. Look up current docs online if you need to.
