agarrharr/awesome-cli-apps ? reverse-engineered prompt

Build me a polished GitHub repo for an awesome list of command line apps, with a clean README that feels easy to browse and maintain.

I want the page to organize tools into clear sections like entertainment, development, productivity, utilities, data, files, version control, images, and other fun stuff, with short plain English descriptions for each app. Make it look good on GitHub, add a banner at the top, and include a simple contributing guide so people know how to suggest new apps or updates.

Please also add any small maintenance scripts or workflow pieces needed to help keep the list fresh, like checking for outdated links or closing stale pull requests if that fits. Focus on making it feel like a real curated resource people can use to discover useful terminal apps fast. If you need to look up current docs or examples online, go ahead and do that.
