I want to build a simple but powerful face recognition tool using Python. The main thing it should do is identify people in photos. I want to give it a folder with pictures of known people, and then have it scan another folder of unknown pictures and tell me which known person is in each photo. It should also be able to flag faces that it doesn't recognize.

This should work both as a simple command-line tool and as a Python library I can import into my own scripts. It would be really cool if it could also do real-time recognition from a webcam feed. I've also seen that these tools can find individual facial features like eyes, noses, and mouths, so I'd like it to have that capability too. I know a library called dlib is involved and can be tricky to install, so please handle all the setup and dependencies.
