akbarkhant/vscode — reverse-engineered prompt

I want this repo turned into a working local build of the open source version of Visual Studio Code. Please get it set up so I can run the editor from source, open files and folders, edit code, use search and navigation, and have the basic build and debug flow working like a real desktop code editor. It should include the built in extensions that come with the project, so common language features and snippets are available out of the box.

Please figure out the install and run steps, fix anything blocking the build, and leave me with a simple way to start it again afterward. If there is a dev container or easier supported setup in the repo, use that. I would also like a short README note with the exact commands to build, run, and test it locally, plus any machine requirements or gotchas. Feel free to check the current project docs online if needed.
