Build me a simple desktop app for OCRmyPDF that lets me run batch OCR jobs on folders of scanned documents from my filesystem.
I want a friendly GUI where I can pick one or more input folders, choose an output folder, set a few basic OCR options, then start the batch and see progress and logs while it runs. It should feel like a practical office tool for processing lots of PDFs and scanned files, not a complicated enterprise app. If it helps, use the current OCRmyPDF docs online so the settings match how the tool actually works.
Make it easy to install and run on Linux, with a modern GTK style if possible. Include sensible defaults, clear status messages, and an obvious way to see when a job succeeds or fails. If there’s anything tricky about the OCRmyPDF command line, just handle it behind the scenes so a normal user only has to choose files, folders, and a few options.
