Build me a Chrome extension that works as a powerful, privacy-focused screen recorder. It shouldn't require any sign-in or have any recording limits.
Users should be able to record their full desktop, a specific application, or just a single browser tab. It needs to capture both microphone and internal system audio, with a push-to-talk option. While recording, I want to give users annotation tools so they can draw on the screen, add text, arrows, and shapes. It would also be great to highlight mouse clicks and have a spotlight mode for the cursor.
For users who record their camera, add a feature to blur their background. After recording, there should be a built-in editor to trim, cut, or crop the video. The final output should be exportable as an MP4, GIF, or WebM file, and include an option to save the video directly to Google Drive. Keep it all local—no data collection.
