apache/doris ? reverse-engineered prompt

I want to get this project running locally from source and make it easy for someone new to try it out.

Please set it up so I can build it, start it, and follow a simple quick start without getting stuck. If anything is missing, fix the code or add the smallest needed setup so the main services come up cleanly, the basic tests pass, and I can run a few example SQL queries against sample data. A simple demo flow would be great too, something that shows real time analytics and search working in a clear way.

Please also improve the setup instructions if needed, so they are short, beginner friendly, and match what actually works in the repo. If you need to check current docs online, go ahead.
