Build me a Claude Code style AI coding assistant that runs from the terminal and helps me work inside a repo.

I want it to understand a project, chat with me about the code, read files, search for symbols, make edits, run shell commands when allowed, and keep track of what it has already done. It should handle permissions safely, support local and remote style transports, and be able to plug into tools like file read and write, grep, glob, web search, and notebook related actions.

I also want the app to feel like a real developer tool, with a clean command line interface, good status output, history, task tracking, and support for interactive prompts. If you need to look up current docs online for any integrations or protocols, do that. Build it so it can be used to explore a codebase, ask questions, and make changes without me having to micromanage every step.
