Build me a local first memory app for AI chats that lets me keep notes in plain Markdown and have my AI assistant read, write, and search them so I do not have to re explain projects every time.

I want it to work with common AI tools like Claude, Cursor, Codex, ChatGPT, and VS Code through MCP, and I want the notes to stay on my disk by default. It should support two way syncing between the app and the Markdown files, connect related notes with wiki style links, and make it easy to search by meaning, not just exact words. If it makes sense, add an optional cloud sync mode so I can use the same knowledge base across devices, but keep the local version fully usable on its own.
