I want to get this BeEF project working on my machine so I can run the browser exploitation framework locally and see the web control panel in a browser.

Please make sure the app installs cleanly, starts without errors, and gives me a simple way to launch it with the default config. If anything in the setup is outdated, please update it so it works with a modern Ruby and Node setup, and keep the existing install flow simple. I’d also like the main startup instructions to be clear, and if there’s a Docker option that works well, set that up too.

When it’s running, I want to be able to open the interface, understand where to configure the host and ports, and know what I need to do next to hook a browser in a safe local test environment. If you need to check current docs online for anything tricky, go ahead and do that.
