benweet/stackedit ? reverse-engineered prompt

Build me a full featured in browser Markdown editor like StackEdit. I want a clean place to write and preview Markdown side by side, with live updating, keyboard shortcuts, and a nice distraction free writing experience. It should work offline, save drafts locally, and let me open, edit, and export documents easily.

Please also include the kinds of publishing and syncing options a tool like this usually has, so I can connect it to services such as Dropbox, Google Drive, GitHub, GitLab, WordPress, and Gist if those are supported. If anything depends on current APIs or setup details, look up the latest docs online and wire it up the right way.

Make it feel polished and ready to use in the browser, with sensible defaults, a simple file or document list, and a responsive layout that works well on desktop and smaller screens.
