Build me an Android diary app where I can write a personal entry for each day and browse my notes by date like a normal journal. I want the main screen to show today’s entry, with easy buttons to go to previous or next days, jump to a chosen date, and search through old entries as I type. Entries should be saved locally in plain text, with markdown support so I can format text and add simple media like images or other shared content.

Please also include an index page option, a template for new entries, a dark and light theme, and a way to back everything up to a zip file. It should be able to print and share an entry, and I’d like a simple calendar view too. If you need to check current Android docs or best practices while building it, go ahead and look them up online.
