Hey, I've got a fun nostalgia project in mind. I want to build a web-based replica of the old Winamp music player, the classic version 2. It should run entirely in the browser using modern JavaScript.

The most important part is that it needs to support original Winamp skins. A user should be able to load a skin file and have the player's whole appearance change. It should, of course, be able to play local audio files like MP3s that someone drags onto it. Please also replicate the graphic equalizer, making sure it can import and use the standard Winamp equalizer preset files. And you absolutely have to include the music visualizer—you know, the Milkdrop-style one where the graphics react to the music. The goal is a faithful reimplementation that looks and feels just like the app we all remember.
