Build me a simple, lightweight charting library for websites that draws responsive charts with SVG.

I want it to be easy to use, so someone can import a chart class, pass in labels, data series, and a few options, and get a nice looking chart on the page without a lot of setup. It should feel friendly for designers too, with styling done through normal CSS and the charts adapting nicely to different screen sizes.

Please include the basic chart types a library like this needs, good defaults, and clean TypeScript code. I’d also like a small demo site or examples so it’s easy to see how it works, plus tests and a polished README with a quick start example. If you need to check current best practices or docs online while building it, go ahead and do that.
