Build me a Streamlit web app where I can upload documents and ask questions about them in plain English.

It should support PDFs, Word docs, CSV or Excel files, and text files, then index the content so I can chat with my files later. When I ask something, first try to answer from the uploaded documents and show which files or chunks were used. If the answer is not in my docs, automatically search the web and use that as a fallback, while making it clear whether the answer came from my files or online.

I also want a simple transparency panel that shows how relevant the retrieved content was, how confident the system is, and any evaluation details for the answer. If possible, include a way to see the workflow steps behind the scenes for debugging, and make it easy to plug in API keys from an environment file.
