Build me a local observability setup for a Pi coding agent so I can actually see what it is doing instead of guessing.

I want an extension that hooks into the agent lifecycle and streams every turn, tool call, model change, compaction, branch change, error, and cost update to a local server. Then build a simple local dashboard that stores the events in SQLite and shows them live in the browser with three ways to view the same run, one detailed session view, one side by side comparison view for multiple sessions, and one race style view for seeing which agent finished each step first.

Please also include a small demo app that runs under the same observability system so I can see the telemetry working in a real workflow. Keep everything local, easy to start, and make the whole thing feel like one cohesive project. Look up current docs online if you need to.
