donho/NPP_HexEdit ? reverse-engineered prompt

Build me a Notepad++ plugin that lets me open a file in a hex editor view and inspect or edit the raw bytes directly inside Notepad++.

I want it to feel like a normal Notepad++ plugin, so it should plug into the app cleanly, show the hex and text side by side, and let me jump around a file, select bytes, and make edits without breaking the file format. If there are any existing source files here, use them to get it working and make sure it builds in Visual Studio 2019. If something is missing or the old code needs cleanup, please fix it so the plugin compiles and runs again.
