electron-userland/electron-builder ? reverse-engineered prompt

Build me a tool for packaging Electron apps so I can take a normal desktop app and turn it into something ready to ship on macOS, Windows, and Linux.

I want it to handle the boring release stuff for me, like making installers and app bundles, supporting auto updates, and letting me publish builds to common places like GitHub Releases or cloud storage. It should work with the usual Electron app setup, include good defaults, and still let me configure things in a simple project config. If there are native dependencies, it should take care of them too.

Please make it easy to use from the command line, but also support using it programmatically in code. If there are docs or a website in the repo, keep them clear and beginner friendly, with a quick start and examples for the common packaging formats. If you need to check current Electron or Node docs online while wiring it up, go ahead.
