I want to build a website that's a big, curated list of developer portfolios to help people get inspiration for their own. The main page should display the whole list, which will be sourced from a single markdown file in a GitHub repo. Let's organize the list alphabetically and add a navigation bar at the top so users can easily jump to any letter, like 'A', 'B', 'C'. It would also be great to show a running total of how many portfolios are currently featured.

The idea is for this to be a community project. A key feature is that people can add their own portfolio by submitting a pull request. To make the data useful for others, please also set up a script that automatically generates a feed.json file from the main markdown list whenever it gets updated. Let's use Python for any backend scripts needed to test submissions or generate the JSON.
