Build out this vending machine firmware so the ESP32 and Arduino Mega can work together end to end.

I want the ESP32 to act like the brain, talk to the database over Wi Fi, manage the order queue, and send one command at a time to the Mega. The Mega should stay simple and just handle the motors, gripper, door, conveyor, homing, and state changes, then send back READY when each action is done.

Please read the context files first, especially the system and Mega notes, and keep the shared protocol in sync on both sides. Make sure the code follows the non blocking approach on the Mega, with no delay calls in the main loop, and keep the command flow safe and predictable. If you need current library or PlatformIO details, look them up online.

I’d like this to be usable from a fresh repo checkout, with the two builds working and the main missing modules filled in cleanly.
