Build me a desktop Tetris game that feels like the original Game Boy version, but runs natively on Windows, macOS, and Linux.

I want the full single player experience, with the normal menu flow, A Type and B Type, pause, game over, score screen, and the ending scenes. It should also ask for a Tetris ROM the first time it runs, then pull the graphics and sound from that and save everything in the user’s app data folder so it keeps high scores and settings between launches.

Please include the original music and sound, selectable color palettes, an optional ghost piece, fullscreen and window scaling, and persistent high scores with name entry. If it fits, also add the extra C Type mode, attract mode, and the small settings and fixes screens. Keep the gameplay faithful to the cartridge, but make it easy to play on a modern computer. If you need to check current docs or best practices while wiring it up, go ahead and look them up online.
