Build me a working open source git server for AI agents, with a CLI and a simple quickstart so I can run it locally and try it right away.

I want it to let multiple agents work on the same repo at once, fetch only the files they need, land changes quickly without a merge queue, and keep a live ordered log of every update. It should support basic server side history lookup, sparse checkout, search, review, and verification, plus a way to watch activity as it happens. Make it work with normal Git repos underneath, and keep the server stateless enough that it can scale later.
