Build me a free, open source AI research draft generator for students and researchers. I want to give it a topic, research question, target language, paper type, length, and preferred AI model, then have it create a full academic first draft with a proper outline, chapters, sections, and bibliography.
The important part is that it must not invent citations. It should search real academic sources like CrossRef, OpenAlex, Semantic Scholar, and arXiv, verify the papers exist, then only cite real sources. It should work like a small research team with separate steps for finding papers, planning the structure, writing sections, checking citations, polishing the writing, and exporting the result.
Please make it usable from the command line and as a Python library. It should export to PDF, Word, and LaTeX, support long drafts around 10,000 to 20,000 words, and be easy to configure with API keys. Look up current docs online if you need to.
