Build me an early alpha version of Blink, a privacy respecting professional social network, basically a lightweight libre alternative to LinkedIn without the bloat.

I want people to be able to create an account, set up a professional profile, add work experience and skills, post short updates, view a simple feed, search for other professionals or businesses, and connect with people. Keep the interface clean and business focused, not flashy. Since privacy is the point, avoid creepy tracking, make profile visibility feel clear, and don’t add unnecessary analytics or growth hacks.

There’s already a frontend and backend split in the repo, so work with that structure. Make it usable enough for a self hosted instance, with sensible defaults, basic error handling, and a simple README explaining how to run it locally. If you need current docs for the existing stack, look them up online.
