I want to build a workspace manager for coordinating multiple AI coding agents like Claude Code, Copilot, and others. Let's give it a cool 'old town' or 'gas town' vibe. The main goal is to orchestrate a whole team of agents working on different projects without them losing context every time they restart, which is a huge pain.

The system should be run by a main AI coordinator, let's call it 'The Mayor.' It will oversee different projects, which we'll organize into 'Rigs.' Inside each rig, we'll have ephemeral worker agents called 'Polecats' that can be spawned for tasks. Their work needs to be persistent, so let's save their state and history using something like git-backed hooks and a structured ledger for tracking tasks.

It should also include a full monitoring system with 'watchdogs' to keep agents on track, a 'refinery' to act as an automatic merge queue for completed work, and an escalation path for when agents get stuck. The backend should be built in Go, and please make it easy to run locally using Docker Compose.

Are you gonna build this?
