Build me a terminal app for looking at network traffic in a way that feels a lot like Wireshark, but inside the terminal.
I want to be able to open a pcap file, or start a live capture from a network interface, then browse packets, apply display filters, and inspect TCP and UDP conversations in a clean, keyboard friendly interface. It should also let me search through packets, copy packet ranges to the clipboard, and switch between a few saved profiles for colors and columns. If possible, make it work well for remote debugging too, since that’s a big reason to use it.
Use tshark underneath for the actual packet analysis, and make sure the app is easy to run as a single executable on common platforms. If you need to check current docs for tshark or terminal UI behavior, look them up online as you build it.
