github/copilot-cli ? reverse-engineered prompt

I want to create a command-line tool that's like having GitHub Copilot right in my terminal. I work on the command line all day and want an AI assistant I can chat with using natural language to help me code. It should be able to help me build new features, debug my existing code, and even just explain what a complex file does.

A really important part is that it needs to integrate with my GitHub account, so I can ask it about my repositories, issues, and pull requests without leaving the terminal. It should act like a smart agent that can plan and execute entire tasks, but it must always show me its plan and get my approval before running any commands. Make it work for macOS, Linux, and Windows, and provide simple installation options like a curl script or through package managers like Homebrew and npm.
