gnachman/iTerm2 ? reverse-engineered prompt
Reverse engineered prompt
Build me iTerm2 from this repo so I can run it on my Mac and start testing it locally.
I want the app to open as a polished macOS terminal replacement, with tabs, panes, session restore, hotkey window, and the built in features described in the README like shell integration, inline images, search across sessions, and the AI chat panel if it’s already part of the project. Please make sure the project builds cleanly from source, fix anything that stops a normal development run, and set it up so I can launch it from Xcode or with the provided build commands.
If anything depends on current tooling or docs, look up the latest guidance online and follow the project’s setup instructions. Keep the existing behavior intact, but if you find obvious build issues, missing config, or broken paths, go ahead and repair them so a fresh clone can get to a working app without a lot of manual cleanup.
