google/fonts ? reverse-engineered prompt

Build me a simple web app that helps me browse and preview the fonts in this Google Fonts collection.

I want to be able to search by family name, see the font styles available, read the short description and license info, and quickly compare how different fonts look with my own sample text. Make it feel clean and easy to use, like a catalog for exploring the font files in this repo.

Please also make it easy to open a font family, show the metadata that comes with it, and surface anything useful about language support or variable font axes when that data exists. Keep the design polished and responsive, since I should be able to use it on desktop and mobile.
