graphdeco-inria/gaussian-splatting ? reverse-engineered prompt
Reverse engineered prompt
I want to set up the official 3D Gaussian Splatting project. The main goal is to take a bunch of photos of a scene, or a video, and turn it into a super realistic 3D model that I can explore from any angle in real-time. It should feel like flying a drone through the captured space.
The project needs a few key things. First, I need a way to process my own images to prepare them for the training step. Next, there's the main Python script that actually trains the model and generates the 3D Gaussian scene. Finally, I need the standalone viewer application that can open the trained models and let me fly around smoothly at a high resolution.
Please get the whole thing set up for me. This should include creating the Conda environment from the file and compiling any of the custom CUDA extensions required for it to run.
