Build me a multiplayer chess web app where people can create private or public games, join live matches, and play against another real player or the computer. I want the game to update in real time, let users choose their color, time settings, and starting type, and let other people watch public games while they are happening.

Please also include a simple chat area for connected users, with the ability to share files in conversation and show the shared items. Let users customize the board and pieces to their liking. Add a puzzle area where signed in users can browse puzzles, solve them, and create new ones, with edit and delete options for puzzles they authored.
