Build me a cross platform terminal app that helps me figure out why a network connection is failing, and explains it in plain English instead of dumping a bunch of raw command output.
I want it to check the important layers one by one, like local interface, DNS, TCP, TLS, HTTP, proxy, and path MTU, then show me a clear verdict about whether the problem is on my machine, somewhere along the path, or with the service itself. It should work interactively in a TUI, but also be useful from scripts with JSON output and exit codes. Add a watch mode for flaky issues, and make it easy to drill into the evidence behind each result, with a simple way to save a report I can share with someone else.
Please make it run on Linux, macOS, and Windows, and keep it usable without needing root. If you need to look up current docs for anything, go ahead.
