home-assistant/core ? reverse-engineered prompt

I want to build an open-source home automation platform that's all about local control and privacy. The whole thing should be able to run on a local server or a Raspberry Pi, so none of my data is sent to the cloud.

It needs a central web dashboard where I can see the status of all my different smart home devices—lights, sensors, thermostats, etc. The most important feature is that it should be super extensible, with a modular system for "integrations." This way, I can easily connect it to all sorts of other devices and services. I also want to create automations, like "turn on the lights when the sun sets" or "send a notification if a door is left open." It should be built with Python and be powerful enough to manage a whole smart home.
