Reverse engineered prompt

Build me a web app like explainshell that lets someone paste a terminal command and instantly see what each part means in plain English.

I want it to read man pages, figure out the options and arguments for common commands, and then match them up against the command the user typed. The page should show the original command, highlight each token, and display the relevant help text beside it in a clean, easy to read way.

It should work for commands with pipes and shell operators too, and if it can’t understand something, it should just leave it unhighlighted instead of breaking. I’d also like a simple way to add or update man pages from a local database, and to run the app locally for testing.

If you need to look up current docs or details for parsing man pages or rendering the UI, go ahead and do that.
