Build me a self hosted open source AI platform like Onyx that feels polished and ready to use. I want a chat app that can work with different LLM providers, lets people upload files and search connected knowledge sources, and gives strong answers with RAG. It should also support custom agents with their own instructions and tools, web search for up to date answers, code execution in a safe sandbox, deep research style reports, and the ability to create downloadable artifacts like documents or images.

Please include the lighter chat focused mode as well as the fuller setup with indexing and background syncing, so I can try it quickly and also run the complete version later. It should support connecting lots of external apps and data sources, plus actions through MCP or similar integrations. A clean web interface is the main priority, and if the repo already supports desktop, mobile, or widget experiences, wire those up too.

Make it easy to run locally and easy to deploy. Look up current docs online if you need to.
