Build me a terminal app for macOS and Linux that helps me clean up developer cache folders without guessing.
I want a nice two pane TUI where I can browse common caches like pip, npm, Cargo, Homebrew, HuggingFace, and Xcode data, see how much space each one uses, and understand what is safe to delete. It should be able to scan cached packages for known CVEs, check whether versions are outdated, and show helpful upgrade commands when something needs attention. I also want search, sorting by size or name, and an easy way to mark items and delete them with confirmation.
If it makes sense, include support for an MCP server too so other AI tools can inspect and clean caches through it. Keep it focused on Unix style paths, since Windows does not need to be supported. If you need to look up current docs or APIs for vulnerability or package version checks, feel free to do that.
