Build me a simple browser extension based on the old Omegle IP idea, with an optional userscript and a small website page for download and instructions. The main thing I want is to detect a stranger’s exposed IP from the chat connection when that’s possible, show basic geolocation info, and give me two ways to view it, either right in the page or by opening a tracker link in a new tab with more details.

Since Omegle is shut down now, please make that clear in the app and README so it feels like an archive or proof of concept instead of pretending it still works there. If possible, keep the code flexible enough that it could be adapted to similar WebRTC style chat sites later. I’d also like a simple option for changing the tracker URL, a privacy notice, and easy local loading from a zip or browser developer mode. Keep it lightweight and understandable, and look up current browser extension docs online if you need to.
