Build me a command line app for chatting with modern AI models from one tool.

I want it to work like a friendly terminal chat client where I can ask one off questions, keep an ongoing conversation, and see answers stream in as they are generated. It should support multiple AI providers so I can switch between them easily, and keep separate chat history for different threads so conversations do not mix together.

Please also include prompt files, image input and output, audio transcription, text to speech, and a way to call outside tools through MCP. I want an experimental agent mode too, so it can break down a task, use safe shell and file actions, and stop if it hits time, step, or token limits.

Make it easy to configure with env vars or a config file, let me list models, and keep the experience polished in the terminal. If you need to check current provider docs or APIs, look them up online.
