kde/krita — reverse-engineered prompt

Build me a free, open source digital painting desktop app for artists, inspired by Krita.

I want someone to be able to open the app, create a new blank artwork, paint on a canvas, choose colors, switch brushes, undo mistakes, and save or reopen their work later. It should feel useful for illustrators, comic artists, concept artists, texture painters, and people making professional digital art from start to finish.

Keep the first version focused and clean. Make the painting workspace the main thing, with simple panels for tools, colors, brush settings, and files. It should run like a real desktop art program and be easy to expand later.

Use a solid cross platform approach, and look up current docs online if you need to. Make sure the project builds, launches, and includes clear instructions so I can run it locally.
