Build me a desktop app for sheet metal nesting that lets me drop in DXF files, detect the parts in them, and automatically arrange them onto one or more sheets to reduce waste. I want a live preview while the nesting is running, with controls for sheet size, spacing, rotation, alignment, margins, and quantities for each part. It should handle common DXF geometry and keep layers and colors intact when exporting the final result. Please also support engraving on its own layer, with a simple text option and an outlined text option.

Make it work on macOS, Windows, and Linux, and keep everything local on the machine, no cloud service.
