kirkwat/tiktok — reverse-engineered prompt

Build me a simple TikTok style mobile app for iPhone and Android. I want people to be able to sign up and log in, make a profile, upload videos from their camera or photo library, and browse a feed of videos from other users. Each profile should show that user’s posts plus follower, following, and like counts, and people should be able to follow and unfollow each other.

Please also include the social pieces, so users can like and comment on videos, search for other users by email, and send direct messages. Use Firebase for login, storage, database, and any server side pieces that are needed. If there are any Firebase settings or project IDs I need to add on my side, leave clear placeholders and tell me exactly where to paste them.

Make it runnable in Expo with TypeScript, and make the app feel close to a real TikTok clone, not just a rough demo. If anything is outdated, look up the current docs and use the best working approach.
