Build me Hermes Agent, a self improving AI assistant that works in the terminal and can also connect to messaging apps like Telegram and Discord through one gateway.

I want it to feel like a real personal agent, not just a chat box. It should remember useful things across sessions, search past conversations, learn from experience, create and improve skills over time, and let me switch between different AI providers without rewriting anything. It should have a clean command line experience with conversation history, streaming responses, slash commands, and the ability to interrupt or redirect while it is working. It should also support scheduled jobs like daily updates or backups, and be able to spin off helper agents for parallel work.
