Build me a terminal based AI coding assistant called Deep Code that feels polished and easy to use in any project folder. It should be tuned for DeepSeek V4 first, but also work with other OpenAI compatible models. I want a simple settings file where I can add the model, base URL, API key, turn deep thinking on or off, and choose the reasoning effort.

The chat should support starting a new conversation, resuming old ones, continuing the current session, switching models, listing available skills, checking MCP tools, undoing changes, and exiting cleanly. Please include extensible agent skills, MCP connections to outside tools, optional web search, optional completion notifications, and permission controls for shell commands, file edits, and network access so it does not always run wild.

It should have normal, lite, and raw output views, and let me paste an image from the clipboard when the model supports that. If anything is unclear, look up the current docs online and make it feel production ready.
