Build me a Python tool that I can run from the command line to collect cloud inventory across AWS, Azure, GCP, and Microsoft 365.

I want one main script that can auto detect credentials, guide me through a first time setup, and then scan whatever cloud it finds. It should gather things like compute, storage, databases, snapshots, backups, protection status, and optional change rate info, then save a full JSON inventory, a summary file, and a log file for each run. It should also collect backup and snapshot cost data by default, with an easy way to turn that off.

Please make it work nicely in a terminal with progress updates, retries for flaky API calls, and support for running across multiple accounts, subscriptions, or projects. Add YAML config support for repeat runs, plus a couple of report scripts that turn the collected data into a readable Excel report.
