Build me a Linux system restore app like Timeshift.

I want a simple desktop app that can take regular snapshots of the system, then let me browse and restore them later if something breaks. It should support both standard filesystem snapshots and BTRFS snapshots, with the BTRFS option working fast when the system is set up for it. The app should keep the interface easy to use, with a main window for snapshots, a settings screen for choosing where to save them, and options for hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, boot, and manual snapshots.

Make sure it protects system files and settings, but leaves my personal files alone by default. It should also be able to run scheduled snapshots in the background, show restore details clearly, and handle restoring from the running system or from a live boot if needed.
