Build me a clean React app in TypeScript using this Vite setup, and wire it up to Supabase so it can actually talk to a backend. I want the app to feel polished and easy to use, with a simple modern layout, responsive design, and sensible empty states and loading states.

Start from the existing project and make it into a working frontend I can run right away. If you need current setup details from the docs, look them up online and use the best current approach. Keep the code organized and easy to extend, and make sure linting and TypeScript are happy.
