Build me a small Python project for designing parametric sewing patterns, with a clean core library for garment parts like panels, edges, interfaces, and simple helpers for combining them into garments.

I want a basic GUI where I can load a default set of design and body measurements, tweak parameters, and see the garment update. It should also be possible to run the same garment definitions from scripts, generate sample garment data, and fit or sample patterns from saved presets.

Please include a few example garment programs and example measurement files so the app opens with something useful right away. Add tests for the main pattern logic and make sure the project can be run from the command line as well as from the GUI. If you need to check current library or visualization docs online while wiring things up, do that.
