Build me a polished Android video player called mpvExtended. I want it to feel simple for normal people, but still have the power of mpv underneath for high quality playback.

Use Kotlin and Jetpack Compose with a modern Material 3 style. The app should let me browse videos from storage with folder and tree views, search through media, manage playlists, and play local files or network streams. Please include support for external subtitles, external audio tracks, zoom gestures, chapters, frame navigation, Picture in Picture, and background playback. It should also be able to open files from SMB, FTP, and WebDAV sources.

Add settings for advanced mpv configuration and scripting, but keep the main player screen clean and easy to use. Make sure it is free, has no ads, and only asks for permissions it actually needs.
